2001 Pontiac Sunfire Radiator Removal. Apply high performance thread sealant to the drain plug and reinstall it. Inspect the metal blade on the inside of the fuse if the fuse casing is transparent or use a fuse tester to verify the fuse’s operation if the fuse casing is opaque.
Remove the wire from the coolant sensor, the one by the thermostat and the fan should come on. I have a 2001 pontiac sunfire, 2.2l, without the thermostat it runs very cool, most of the time below 195 degrees. Remove the fuse panel and pull out the radiator fan fuse with a fuse puller.
